Honda Brio, A Slim City Car

Honda Brio since introduced by its manufacturer, PT Honda Prospect Motor, in 2013 has become an alternative choice of the Indonesian people in car ownership. Honda Brio is designed as a city car so it has a slimmer body and uses LCGC or Low Cost Green Car engine.

Exterior and Interior Design

Honda Brio has a stylish, fresh, sporty, compact, and functional design, so it can represent the look of metropolitan youth. This car has an aerodynamic exterior design and sporty style. The entire exterior has a double triangle form concept, with the front grill concept and equipped with aggressive character bumpers, there are also radiators, fiberglass covers, and foglamp (not available in Satya variants).

The exterior of the Honda Brio on the side is equipped with a retractable door mirror plus LED turning signal. While on the RS variant, equipped with a side under spoiler and 15-inch wheels. The exterior of the rear, equipped with a stop lamp and spoiler tail gate model that makes the car look more sporty.

The interior of the Honda Brio has a minimalist concept and can accommodate five passengers. However, this car has a spacious cabin. The bench is made of a good material with a thick foam that gives a sense of comfort. The dashboard design looks sporty and features a modern video audio system, such as audio system features, AC, USB port, DVD, CD and more.

Even the temperature setting is equipped with a digital air conditioner (AC) system. The steering wheel is equipped with an audio steering switch. On the RS variant, it is also equipped with a speaker tweeter to mute the sound.

Honda Brio Engine

Honda Brio has 1.2L SOHC engine, 4Cylinders In-Line, 16Valve, i-VTEC + DBW. With a engine capacity of 1.198cc, this car is capable of generating power up to 90Ps at 6,000 rpm, and maximum torque of 110 Nm at 4,800 rpm. Moreover, coupled with Drive by Wire and Eco Indicator technology that is able to control the opening and closing of the engine combustion so that it produces good acceleration but still saves fuel.

Special Features

The latest Honda Brio specifications have a very strong G-CON + ACE body structure, with MacPherston Strut front and rear suspension using an H-Shape Torsion Beam that is comfortable enough to drive past the capital. The transmission system on this car uses Earth Dreams Technology, making it smoother and more energetic. For manual type cars, it has only 5 standard manual acceleration.

This car braking feature is equipped with ABS and EBD. It also has a G-Force Control Technology (G-CON) + ACE design security system, side impact beam that dampens collisions from side to side, protector with load limiter seatbelt and dual front SRS airbags that will protect from collisions. Security from behind, equipped with seatbelt reminder. The car also comes with Wave Key security features, Keyless Entry, Immobilizer, and Alarm System.
